Adobe Spark Video
REVIEW:
This week we used Adobe Spark Video, which is set up very similarly to Adobe Spark Page, which we used last week. I'm surprised that I have never heard of either of the apps before taking this course. I think they could be very useful in a classroom, even in college. They are also very easy to navigate, which makes it a great tool to use for young students! One thing I really like about Spark Video, is that the voice feature adds a personal touch to the videos. Like the one I made this week, I used my own voice. So, when my students watch the video, they feel like they are being taught TO, not AT. This could be a very influential tool, as the students are used to hearing your voice and how you in particular teach. They understand your teaching style, which is important when it comes to getting students to retain information. This could also be useful if you are attempting to use a "flipped classroom," probably mainly with older students. This tactic can be very beneficial to students, and this app will aid in that experience. The teacher can record their voice, add videos, pictures and more for their students to watch at home. This app is a great tool for the classroom and is one I will definitely be taking advantage of!
